To Be Seen.

To Be Seen.

“Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Be kind. Always.” ~Ian McClaren

Today I celebrate my intrinsic health. The unshakable health within me that is not dependant on wether or not I am free from illness. When the clouds of pain darken the view of my precious colourful life, I pause and get real quiet. And there, from the stillness, the brilliance that makes up my fundamental landscape arises. When I connect to this brilliance, this innate worthiness, I feel bigger than my circumstances. I feel clear, grounded, and strong. I feel healthy.

It is helpful to know that this unconditional health is always there within me ready to access. It is also important for me to recognize that all beings have this intrinsic health. When I connect with this fundamental state, I can then reflect it back to those around me. I truly see and hear the person in front of me. Because here’s the thing… when I’ve felt at my very worst, what has helped me overcome the pain was not in pill form, but in the tender words of a friend: “I see you. I hear you. You are worthy of love and belonging.”

Much Love.
